It is official and I wanted to keep everyone up to date. The HOPS HAVE SPROUTED! Here is the first of our weekly photo updates. This is certainly the earliest they have ever peeked through. Omens of good things to come……

I will be brewing a new batch of Heady Topper this week. I’m doing this for my brother Karl. We talked yesterday about my upcoming trip back to Pittsburgh, and I asked what he wanted me to bring back in keg form. So all you fans of the Heady can thank my brother….

I just dry hopped the new batch of Charlie, the Wild Child has been blended and is aging nicely, and the Focal Banger has been released! Better get in here quick for the Focal Banger, because it sure won’t be around more than a few weeks. And yes, I ended up sticking with that name, for sentimental reasons…

Also, I just took delivery of my first samples of sorghum extracts. The first test batches of Celia will most likely be brewed next weekend, and the first full size batch may be brewed some time in early April. Hang on Jen, soon you’ll have some hoppy treats back in your life.
