Renovations
Starting Monday, May 4th through to Monday, May 11 we will be closing our doors. We’ve got a big project planned and scheduled for some renovations.
Though it’s not the sort of project where, when everyone returns on Tuesday, May 12 you’ll walk through the front doors and go wow!. Iit’s still rather important to all of us and we’re very excited about the changes it’s going to bring to The Alchemist.
You see, we’re completely renovating and re-doing our kitchen. The flooring is going to be all new, some of the current equipment will be replaced, and we’re buying some brand-new equipment. All of this working towards bringing you guys even better food. Jeff is working on some really great ideas to bring to our menu through this new equipment, which we’re all really excited about too.
Our apologies for any inconvenience, our thanks for your patience, as we just really want to bring you the best beer and food in Vermont!

Any chance of implementing a speakeasy strategy during this Prohibition period? A secret knock at the back door… a pint-sized iron slot opens… a fin is slid in… a Heady Topper slides out… a giddy customer steals away into the night with an ear-to-ear grin…

Deliver us from the suffering of hop-deprivation. Sure there’s Smuttynose and Bombay Grab, but it is not the same. Seeing the Alchemist dark and forelorn is most troubling. Hopefully after work today (May 12), I will find the lights on and happy people spilling out into the street. I will then worship with the holiest of Cows.
