Site Progress
In honor of our 5th year anniversary last week, I’ve created a unique page to celebrate even further! John, Jen and Jeff did a fantastic job with the whole event, and while I was only able to get there later, everyone, and I mean everyone!! wouldn’t stop talking about John’s beer menu. So I have added here on the site a verbatim copy of that menu.
As to the site itself, we’re pretty much back 100% and running smoothly. Just one more database related job to be taken care of, as well as the following cool story.
I was talking to Jeff last night during service, and he mentioned he had a friend back home in Cincinnati (so I just kept my mouth shut and let him think I believed him 
) who, through some sort of grace and good luck had somehow managed to save to his computer all of the past and lost blog posts that John and Jeff had made on the old site. Which is an unbelievable bit of good luck for us here!
So as I understand it, they’re being forwarded to Jeff who will then forward them here to be re-published. Thanks a ton both to Jeff and our guardian saviour.
Update: Apologies if, sometime during the morning of 12/11/08 you came across a totally crashed site. That was on purpose! Not only have I now installed a database back-up system, the entire site management software has been updated. Never say never, but should be smooth sailing from here on out.
